Always track what you are doing and what the results are from that effort. Remember, these are YOUR goals, not anyone else's. Whether you are new to Network Marketing or an old timer, the way you build your business is the same. You build your business one person at a time. This may seem out of place, seeing that the growth of many in some Network Marketing groups see their downlines leap 10, 20, or even 100 at a time. But whether you get one new member this week or a hundred, if you want to keep and build your business you must help those new people and build their business. It is by helping others build their businesses that your own business grows and becomes stable. Once you understand this and apply it you will see your business and your pay checks blossom. You will see your downline stabilize. Let me give you an example that may make this concept clearer for you. I once read an article that discussed the "power of one." Consider this, let's say you started your new network marketing business this month, and you signed up one new person. Then the following month, both you and he signed up one new person each. The next month the four of you signed up one new person each, and this process continued for one year. Everyone just signs up one new person each month. At the end of the year you would have more than 2000 people in your downline! Do the math. Its amazing! This is what can be accomplished by helping others understand how to build their businesses. In the above example you would have personally recruited just 12 people, but you would have had to help and train many more, but still no where near 2000. In the above example you would have had to help somewhere around 36 people become competent at the business. The idea is that of duplication. To be an effective upline sponsor, you need to duplicate the ability of effectively marketing this opportunity and the ability of training others in your downline how to market this opportunity. Once you have effectively shown someone how to do this business and made sure that they can teach others to do this business, your job is done with that person. At that point you have duplicated yourself. That person can now go out and present the business by himself, and train others to do the same. You will no longer have to hold that person's hand. That person is then self-reliant. In the following plan, you will only need to help twelve people get to the point of complete duplication. I will recommend that you help more than twelve. This will speed along the size of your paychecks. Step 1 - Learn to do this business yourself Before you can help someone else, you must learn how to do this business yourself. If you havent personally recruited three people yourself, get together with your upline and discuss ways of recruiting. Also, thoroughly read the Marketing Attack Manual on this web site. It has many ways of improving your recruiting abilities. Take the time to read and study these articles. Once you know these techniques and are able to show results, you can share with others how you did it. Basically, all you have to do is get people to go to your Network Marketing web site. The site does the rest. This is a numbers game. If you can get enough people to go to your site, you will get enough yes's to be successful. You must know what it takes to get people to your site, and be able to pass that on to others. If you are new to this business, your first goal is to get your first line filled. That means you need to recruit three, four or five people, or as many as your matrix calls for. Hopefully, your upline sponsor is going to help you with this and show you how to do this business. But, lets go on the assumption that your upline sponsor is unreliable. You now have two options: 1) complain and give up because your upline sponsor is a flake, or 2) take matters into your own hands and build a paycheck of $22,000/month in spite of your upline. I hope you will do the latter. Set your goal to fill your first line within a week of joining. Begin working the Internet Marketing Attack Plan outlined in the Marketing Attack Manual on this web site. Work this as hard as you can, and as fast as you can to get those first level people. Once you have your first level filled, you can go on to step 2. Step 2 - Being a good upline sponsor It is now your job to show your new members how you got three people, so they can each get three people. Be in contact with your new members and share your methods with them. You also want to continue marketing. As you get new members they will be dropped into your new member's downline. This will show them that you are committed to them, and also show them how to be good upline sponsors to their people. Your goal in this step is to help your first level members, each get their first level filled. You also want to make sure they are able to market this program effectively and teach others how to market it effectively. One way to help them is to send them the URL to this site. If you are following this plan and are teaching others to follow this plan, they will know what to expect and what is expected of them. They will need to read and reread this paper. Set a goal for your first level people that they will fill their first line within a week. Your downline will then have doubled! At this point your main job is done! You're on your way! If you have done everything properly and everyone in your group duplicates properly, your downline will grow and grow and grow. However, just to make sure things dont go wrong, I suggest you go on to step three. Step 3 - Become a mentor This is where you really begin to build stability in your group. Look over your downline report. If you see a spot where someone is struggling. E-mail them and ask them how they are doing, what they are doing, and if they would like a little extra help from you. If they reply with a favorable e-mail, then help them get their three. Direct your marketing efforts to their personal Network Marketing site. Make sure you show them what marketing techniques you are using, the ones listed here, and help them to use those techniques that you personally have found most effective. Let their direct upline know you are working with that person too. This is your way of teaching that person how to be a better upline. In this business we teach by example. People will do what they see you do. If they see you doing action items, they will do them too. If they see you following this plan, they will follow it too, and teach others to follow it. Remember, you will want to work with each person until they have their first line filled, then move on to someone else who may be struggling. You should be able to help one or two people a week this way. Step 4 - Become a true leader This is called going the extra mile. Do not limit your help to just those people in your pay line. Go beyond your group. Help others who may come to you. Offer to help everyone in your downline, no matter where they fall. If you do this, the personal rewards will be as great as the monetary rewards. By doing this, you teach others that giving is better than receiving, and that we should all do unto others as we would have them do unto us. We are now building good relationships and teaching others to do the same. Isn'tt this the kind of people we want as business partners anyway? Now you have a workable plan that can and will yield great monetary and personal results. Work it as hard as you can, as fast as you can. And always help train your downline................ .......
